HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, is the standard markup language used for creating web pages. It provides a way to structure and format text, images, and other elements on a webpage. With HTML, developers can create headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and other types of content that can be displayed in a web browser.

JAVA is a programming language that is widely used for developing software applications. It is known for its "write once, run anywhere" philosophy, which means that Java code can be written once and then run on any platform that supports Java without the need for modification. Java is often used to create enterprise applications, mobile apps, and games.
CGI, or Common Gateway Interface, is a standard for running scripts on a web server. It allows developers to create dynamic web pages by executing scripts on the server-side, which can then generate HTML, XML, or other types of content to be sent to the client. CGI scripts are commonly written in languages such as Perl, Python, and Ruby.
PERL is a high-level programming language that is often used for text processing, system administration, and web development. It is known for its powerful regular expression capabilities, which make it well-suited for tasks such as parsing and manipulating text. Perl is also commonly used as a "glue" language, which means that it is often used to tie together other tools and systems.
PHP is a server-side scripting language that is widely used for web development. It is particularly well-suited for creating dynamic web pages, and can be used to create both simple and complex web applications. PHP is often used in conjunction with other technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create interactive and engaging websites.
FIREWORKS and FLASH are applications used for web design and animation, respectively. Fireworks is used for creating and editing images, creating interactive elements and wireframes, and creating designs for web pages. Flash is used for creating animations, interactive content, and games. Both Fireworks and Flash are commonly used by web designers and developers to add visual and interactive elements to websites.
